    Adam Zampa Shines as Australia Beat Oman, but Early T20 World Cup 2026 Exit Hurts

    After delivering a Player of the Match performance of 4-27, Adam Zampa admitted that the comprehensive nine-wicket win over Oman in their last match did little to ease Australia’s disappointment at their early exit from the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026.

    “To be honest, it has been a rough few days for us,” Zampa said after the match. “The voice in our changeroom has been pretty quiet as we are very disappointed that our World Cup is ending so soon,” he said.
