ENG vs IND: Stats Preview ahead of the England vs India First Test at Headingley, Leeds

ENG vs IND 1st Test 2023-25, Approaching Milestones and Records: It is time for the new World Test Championship cycle to begin as the India cricket team are all set to face the England cricket team in a five-match Test series. These two teams will be facing each other in the first tests, starting at 3:30 PM IST on Friday at Headingley, Leeds.

This series will play a major role for these two sides in the qualification of the final of the WTC 2025-27 final. But it needs a good start. India will be without their key players, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and Ravichandran Ashwin, who have already retired. Shubman Gill will take the Test team forward and will be looking to start his captaincy journey with a win.
