At Darwin, Hazlewood dismissed Mehidy Hasan Miraz to claim his 300th Test wicket, becoming only the ninth Australian bowler in history to reach the landmark and just the seventh Australian fast bowler to do so.

Hazlewood began Australia's first Test against Bangladesh needing five wickets to enter the exclusive 300 club. He finished the innings with 6 for 89, his 14th five-wicket haul in Tests.
