Big Bash League 2022-2023: In the BBL knockout match between Sydney Thunders & Adelaide Strikers, Strikers were off to a great start after opting to bat first. The openers added 40 runs, and Daniel Sams dropped a catch in the 4th over. However, he made up for it as he grabbed a screamer at the boundary line while being airborne.
Openers Matthew Short and Alex Carey opened the innings for Adelaide Strikers and were off to a great start, adding 40 runs inside the first four overs. However, on the 5th ball of the 3rd over being bowled by Chris Green, Daniel Sams completely misjudged the ball which was high in the air. Even though the fielder had a lot of time, he ended up being too far away from the ball when it landed.
