महिला एशिया कप : किन भारतीय खिलाड़ियों पर होगा दारोमदार?
India Women: महिला एशिया कप 2024 का आग़ाज़ 19 जुलाई से हो जाएगा। भारत अपना पहला मैच इसी दिन पाकिस्तान के ख़िलाफ़ खेलेगा। टी20 प्रारूप में इस टूर्नामेंट की शुरुआत 2012 से हुई थी और तब से लेकर अब तक तीन बार यह खिताब भारतीय टीम के नाम रहा है।2022 में पिछली बार भारतीय टीम ने यह ख़िताब जीता था और भारत एक बार फिर से इस ट्रॉफ़ी का प्रबल दावेदार है। ऐसे में हम उन भारतीय खिलाड़ियों के प्रदर्शन पर नज़र डालते हैं, जिन्होंने पिछले संस्करण में बेहतर प्रदर्शन किया था और पिछले संस्करण से लेकर अब तक टी20 प्रारूप में उनका प्रदर्शन कैसा रहा है:
जेमिमाह रॉड्रिग्स
एशिया कप 2022 में जेमिमाह रॉड्रिग्स सर्वाधिक रन बनाने वाली बल्लेबाज़ थीं। रॉड्रिग्स ने छह पारियों में 54.25 की औसत, 135.62 के स्ट्राइक रेट और दो अर्धशतक के साथ 217 रन बनाए थे। हालांकि रॉड्रिग्स ने एशिया कप के बाद से अब तक खेली कुल 61 पारियों में 23.39 की औसत और 118.14 के स्ट्राइक रेट से 1146 रन बनाए हैं और उनके बल्ले से चार अर्धशतक आए हैं। इस अवधि में टी20 प्रारूप में एशिया कप के लिए चयनित भारतीय दल में 1000 से ज़्यादा रन बनाने वाले बल्लेबाज़ों की सूची में वह 5वें स्थान पर हैं। लेकिन दक्षिण अफ़्रीका के ख़िलाफ़ रॉड्रिग्स ने ताबड़तोड़ अर्धशतक लगाकर लय में लौटने के संकेत दिए थे। ऐसे में भारतीय टीम को उनके बल्ले से वैसे ही प्रदर्शन की उम्मीद होगी जैसा उन्होंने पिछले एशिया कप के दौरान किया था।

In a low-scoring encounter, South Africa rode on half-centuries by Tazmin Brits (81 off 56 balls) and Marizanne Kapp (57 off 33 balls) to post 189/4 in 20 overs. The Indian women tried to stem the run flow with twin-wicket hauls each by Pooja Vastrakar (2-23) and Radha Yadav (2-40).

India women's team defeated South Africa by 10 wickets in the one-off Test at the M.A. Chidambaram Stadium on Monday.
