Home Minister Amit Shah Chairs Review Meeting On India's Bid For 2036 Olympics
India plans to host the 2030 Commonwealth Games and the 2029 Police and Fire Games at Ahmedabad, besides the 2036 Olympic Games.
In a post on X informing about the meeting, Shah affirmed the Modi Government's commitment to establishing India as a global destination by hosting major international sports events. The hosting of the 2030 Commonwealth Games and, before that, the Police and Fire Games in 2029 are in line with that commitment.
