Chopra, Antil Among Elite Athletes Complain Against Coach Naval Singh Over Alleged Harassment And Abusive Behaviour

SAI Deputy Director Arunlal: Two-time Paralympic Games medallist Sumit Antil is among the country's top javelin throwers who have alleged harassment and use of abusive language by javelin coach Naval Singh and have complained to the Sports Authority of India (SAI), a news report claimed on Friday. Antil claimed he has received support from Tokyo Olympic gold medallist javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra.
According to the report, the country's top athletes have made a written complaint to SAI, alleging mental harassment and repetitive use of abusive language by javelin coach Naval Singh, who trains Sachin Yadav.
The written complaint was submitted to SAI on April 10, after the matter was raised with officials from SAI and the Paralympic Committee of India (PCI), The Bridge said in a report on Friday.
