Cristiano Ronaldo Acquires Stake in UD Almeria, Expands Footprint in Spanish Football
Portugal star Cristiano Ronaldo has made a big investment in the Spanish Football. He has purchased a 25 per cent stake in the second-tier club UD Almeria, which is currently owned by Saudi Arabian investors. The Al Nassr forward has acquired the stake through the subsidiary CR7 Sports, and the investment comes as part of the club ownership consortium led by SMC Group.
Ronaldo explained the reason behind the interest in the club in a statement released by UD Almeria after the purchase.
