Bhatia Is Set For Tour Championship As Clark Completes Wire-to-wire Win
Min Woo Lee: Akshay Bhatia produced a spectacular eagle-birdie finish to close with a two-under 68 and tie for 12th at the 2026 BMW Championship, securing his place in the season-ending Tour Championship and retaining 15th position in the FedEx Cup standings.
Bhatia, who started the BMW Championship 15th in the FedEx Cup rankings, finished comfortably inside the top 30, becoming the only one of the three Indian-origin players in the field to qualify for the Tour Championship. The season finale features the top 30 players in the FedEx Cup standings.
The Indian-origin star made three birdies and an eagle against three bogeys in his final round, saving his best for the finish with an eagle followed by a birdie.
