Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita: A sexual harassment case has been registered against a boxing coach associated with the private boxing club at a reputed Stadium in Bengaluru. The legal action follows allegations by a 17-year-old boxer and her mother, who accused him of inappropriate behavior and harassment.

The incident is reported within the limits of the Sampangiramnagar police station.

Following the mother's complaint, the police registered a case under Sections 8 and 12 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012, alongside Section 351(2) (criminal intimidation) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023. An investigation is currently underway.
