Secretary General Pramod Kumar: The Boxing Federation of India (BFI) has placed Secretary General Pramod Kumar under interim suspension with immediate effect, pending a thorough probe into charges of procedural violations, avoidance of official oversight, and administrative overreach.
In a formal suspension order issued on Tuesday, signed by BFI President Ajay Singh, multiple grounds requiring immediate protective action to safeguard the federation's interests and ensure an unhindered investigation were cited. The disciplinary action follows Kumar's failure to respond to a formal Show Cause Notice and a subsequent extension notice.
