IND v SA: After the historic Centurion win, India will meet South Africa at Johannesburg for the 2nd test match from 3rd January at Wanderers Stadium. 

Wanderers has hosted 42 test matches in which only 11 matches have ended in a draw. The team winning the toss has opted to bat first 36 times. The team batting first here has won 20 times. 

The venue is quite similar to what Centurion offered - pacers impacting the match, average 27.79 & strike rate 57.8, and the par score being 300. However, the spinners will play a bigger role here than Centurion. 

In the first match, as expected, only two wickets fell to spin out of 40 wickets. At Johannesburg, spinners average 36.5 with a relatively better strike rate of 80.3.

India will be confident going into this match for various reasons - a) they are leading the series, b) they have never lost a test match at Johannesburg, and c) they have a perfect combination for these conditions with R Ashwin being their ace spinner.

Like Centurion, thunderstorms have been predicted for the second test match as well. The first day is expected to be cloudy but without rain while there are chances of rain or thunderstorms.
