Ricky Ponting is one of the all-time great batters in cricket and even after his many years of retirement, he continues to share his expertise whenever and wherever he has got the chance. 

In the ongoing second Ashes Test, Ponting is in the commentary panel of the 7cricket channel. On Day 2, Ponting was on air when Cameron Green came out to bat. Ponting began talking about Green's batting technique, saying his batting stance has a very open front foot due to which England will be targetting his stumps. 

"A very distinct change of tactics now for Cam Green - they'll get a lot fuller and a lot straighter, they'll target his stumps," said Ponting. 

"Have a look when he sets up in his stance. He sets up with a very open front foot. That's generally a sign of someone who is worried about getting LBW, doesn't want to get their front foot too far across into the line of the stumps."

As predicted by Ponting, Ben Stokes bowled a straight delivery, fuller in length which deviated a little and crashed into Green's stumps and Australia lost their fifth wicket.
