In the ongoing ashes test match between Australia & England, England staged a fightback on the third day as they finished Day 3 strong at 220/2 in the second innings. However, English were again off to a shaky start as Aussie skip Pat Cummins dismissed English opener Rory Burns with extra bounce.
On the last ball of the over right after lunch, Cummins bowled a short delivery to Rory Burns, which bounced a bit more than Burns expected and caught his glove on the way to wicketkeeper Alex Carey's gloves. The speed of the ball was 134 KPH but it seemed a lot more quick as it took Burns by surprise and couldn't connect the cut shot he was trying to play.
Before getting out, Rory Burns scored 13 runs off 27 balls with 2 boundaries. In the first innings, Burns was clean bowled by Mitchell Starc on the first ball of the match. The English opener would be hoping for more fruitful outings in the coming matches if he gets a chance to play.
