India vs West Indies, 2nd ODI: It was an interesting start to the second game between India and West Indies when captain Rohit Sharma announced that KL Rahul will replace Ishan Kishan in the playing XI. 

While everyone thought that Rahul will be back as the opener, that resulted in mixed reactions from the experts and fans. However, when the teams entered the field, everyone was taken by surprise watching Rishabh Pant coming out to bat with Rohit.

Pant is one of the most destructive batters in the Indian batting lineup. It seemed that it will be a brilliant move for India to up their powerplay game. However, something different happened. 

Pant, who opened the innings after nearly six years, struggled to get to the pitch of the moving ball. In the powerplay overs, Pant only scored 17 runs and it took him 32 balls. He got out in the 11th over at the score of 18 from 34 balls.

Pant tried to pull the ball but mistimed it to get a top edge that went straight in the hand of Jason Holder.
