DC vs SRH IPL 2022: Nicholas Pooran has been an exceptional finisher for the Sunrisers Hyderabad, smacking whatever deliveries he gets to play. In the match against Delhi Capitals, Nicholas Pooran had to come out in the 7th over. However, the newly announced West Indies skipper held one end as he smacked 62 runs at a strike rate of 182.35. 

Nicholas Pooran smacked 62 runs in 34 balls, smacking 2 fours & 6 sixes. The batter kept fighting for Sunrisers Hyderabad and kept smacking the bowlers. However, he didn't receive any substantial support from other SRH batters apart from Aiden Markram's 25-ball-42.

Pooran was, however, dismissed in the 18th over by Shardul Thakur, caught by countryman Rovman Powell. SRH score read 165/7 and with no recognized batters left to come, the hattrick of defeats was confirmed for the Sunrisers after winning 5 back-to-back matches. Pooran was bought for INR 10.75 crores in the IPL 2022 mega auction. In the previous fixture for Sunrsiers Hyderabad, Nicholas Pooran scored an unbeaten 64 runs in 33 balls with 3 fours & 6 sixes. However, despite this performance, Chennai Super Kings defeated Hyderabad by 13 runs.

While talking about the match, Sunrisers Hyderabad captain Kane Williamson won the toss & opted to bowl first against Delhi Capitals in the 50th match of IPL 2022. David Warner (92*) and Rovman Powell (67*) powered Delhi Capitals to 207/3 in 20 overs. For SRH, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Sean Abbott & Shreyas Gopal picked up 1 wicket each. This match is being played at Brabourne Stadium, Mumbai.
