One of the popular cliches of cricket is that fast bowlers are an angry breed. They are scary and hot-headed. Even though it might not be true for all the bowlers but some bowlers do come into the hot-headed category, and Neil Wagner is one of them.
The New Zealand pacer has been made to toil hard since the last two days by the Bangladesh batters, where they have crossed the 400-run mark with a lead of over 70 after the end of day 3. Wagner has bowled 38 overs in the hot sun.
With Bangladesh going strong and giving almost nothing to New Zealand bowlers to pounce on, Wagner finally found Mominul Haque's edge that went straight to keeper, when the batter was on 9 off 57 balls. However, after several replays, it was concluded that Wagner had overstepped and Haque was saved.
Mominul edges behind to Blundell but Neil Wagner is adjudged to have overstepped by 3rd Umpire Wayne Knights at Bay Oval. New ball available at the end of this over. Follow play LIVE with @sparknzsport. #NZvBAN pic.twitter.com/LCxFi5XZoa
