WATCH: Naseem Shah Displays The Art Of Reverse Swing

Naseem Shah ended up getting four wickets in the first innings of Australia vs Pakistan 3rd test.

History has always told us that the reverse swing was something that Pakistan's cricket mastered. The likes of Wasim Akram and Waqar Younis gave the cricket fraternity something to learn but most importantly, they helped groom the young generation of Pakistan. 

Pakistan is a pace bowling factory and this manufacturing unit has served another fast bowling sensation - Naseem Shah. 

The 19-year-old fast bowler made his debut when he was just 16 and five first-class matches old. But clearly, the Pakistan board and coaches saw something in him. 

In the third test match between Australia and Pakistan at Lahore, Naseem Shah showcased why he is rated so highly in his country. 

Reverse swing happens when the bowler has full control on his wrist, seam angle, pace - the ball. If the bowler doesn't have full control over the ball then there is less chance of the ball getting reverse swing.

It takes years to master this art but Naseem Shah did it at the age of 19. In the 3rd test, Shah was reversing the ball and troubling the Australian batters. He got Steve Smith with a nip-backer and continued to trouble the Aussies. 

Naseem Shah ended up getting four wickets in the first innings, all through while troubling the batters with his movement. After getting Smith LBW, he bowled Cameron Green, struck Alex Carey in front, and removed Nathan Lyon's stumps.
