MS Dhoni Begins Practicing Ahead Of IPL 2022 (VIDEO)

Watch MS Dhoni practice in the nets ahead of the IPL 2022.

The Indian Premier League(IPL) extravaganza is all set to begin with the Mega Auction coming up later this week with 10 franchises fighting it out to build their squad for the next three years. 

Before Mega Auction, IPL franchises have already retained/picked their core players. Chennai Super Kings has retained four players, including MS Dhoni, who is expected to lead the side at least for a year. 

Dhoni is now 40 years old and has only played IPL since retiring from international cricket in 2020. In the two IPL seasons, Dhoni hasn't been contributed a lot through his bat but won the IPL title in 2021. 

CSK will go in the IPL 2022 as defending champion and the captain has already marked his guard in the nets to prepare for the upcoming season. He was seen batting in Ranchi's JSCA stadium.

In the video, it looks like Dhoni has just begun his practice and warming up with his front foot and getting a feel of the ball. Even at the age of 40, Dhoni is looking fully motivated to dominate the IPL 2022 and who knows, we might see the Mahi Magic this season.
