IRE vs NZ 2nd T20I - In the 2nd T20I between Ireland and New Zealand played in Belfast, Michael Bracewell scripted history by doing a hattrick. Generally, a wicket-keeper-batter, bowling the 14th over of the Irish inning, Bracewell dismissed Mark Adair on the third ball of the over, Barry McCarthy on the fourth delivery and Craig young on the 5th delivery. Dane Cleaver was keeping the wickets for New Zealand in this match.
Right-handed spinner, Michael Bracewell bowled just 5 deliveries in this match and conceded just 5 runs while registering 3 wickets to his name. It is noteworthy that it was Bracewell's first ever over in T20 internationals. However, the 31-year-old has registered 5 and 7 wickets in Tests and ODIs respectively.
Bracewell became the third New Zealand bowler ever to do a hattrick in T20 internationals. Prior to him, Jacob Oram did a hattrick in 2009 against Sri Lanka while Tim Southee took a hat-trick against Pakistan in the 2010-11 season.
HAT-TRICK! #MichaelBracewell breezes past Ireland tail.
