WATCH: Jasprit Bumrah's Sharp & Accurate Bouncer Leaves Shaw Dazzled & Dismissed

MI vs DC IPL 2022: Prithvi Shaw was dismissed by Jasprit Bumrah after scoring 24 runs in 23 deliveries as Delhi Capitals lost their 3rd wicket.

MI vs DC IPL 2022: Even though ace pacer Jasprit Bumrah had an 'off' season in the first half of the tournament, the bowler has displayed his dominance with the ball in the last few matches. In the last IPL 2022 match for Mumbai Indians, Bumrah displayed lethal bowling as he first dismissed Mitchell Marsh for a golden duck, and then bowled a sharp & accurate bouncer to send back DC opener Prithvi Shaw. 

After DC were at 22/2 in 3.2 overs, captain Rishabh Pant joined opener Prithvi Shaw at the middle to help stabilize the innings. Both these batters looked careful in their approach, building a partnership being their only aim.

Mumbai Indians' vice-captain Jasprit Bumrah was bowling the 6th over of the innings. Bumrah delivered the fourth delivery on back of length, angled in sharply from his action. The Delhi opener, who was making a come back after missing the last few matches due to illness, was indecisive in his approach against this accurate bouncer. 

In the end, the youngster tried to evade the incoming delivery but didn't bring his hands down. The ball smacked the batter's glove and went straight to Mumbai Indians' wicketkeeper Ishan Kishan. Shaw was dismissed after scoring 24 runs in 23 deliveries with 2 fours & a six as Delhi lost their third wicket on a total of just 31 runs in 5.4 overs. 

Earlier, Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma won the toss & opted to bowl first against Delhi Capitals in the 69th match of IPL 2022. This is a must-win game for Delhi Capitals to qualify for the playoffs while a Mumbai win will put Royal Challengers Bangalore through instead. This match is being played at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai.
