Watch Adam Gilchrist left open-mouthed after watching Laurie Evans' shot today.

Laurie Evans had a fantastic night batting in the Big Bash League(BBL) Finals where he smashed 76 runs in just 41 balls with the help of four fours and four sixes. 

Evans came into bat when Perth Scorchers were in deep trouble after being reduced to 25/4 in six overs. Evans and Ashton Turner added 104 runs in 59 balls for the fifth wicket to not only revive the innings but get Scorchers to a decent score. 

Evans had an incredible power-hitting session and reached his fifty in just 25 balls that too with a six. 

In the 17th over, Evans was in full flow and played one of the shots of the tournament. A lofted drive inside out over cover with a brilliant bat swing. 

The shot was so good that Adam Gilchrist, who was live on commentary, was left open-mouthed for a few seconds. His reaction summed up how good that shot was from Laurie Evans, who helped Scorchers score 171/6 in the first innings.
