In the ongoing Big Bash League match between Melbourne Stars & Sydney Thunders, Daniel Sams grabbed an amazing catch on the boundary, however, the wicket was denied after which the allrounder was left shocked.
Sydney Thunders bowler McAndrew bowled a high full toss which Stars' batter Larkin flicked over square leg while backing away. Daniel Sams was fielding for the Thunders on the boundary, ran back in the deep, tumbled backwards and completed the catch with two hands - while keeping his eye on the ball and staying inside the boundary line.
Sams immediately stood up & started to celebrate the wonderful catch he had held on to. However, he was shocked to see the batter completing their run, after which the on-field umpire signalled that it was a front-foot no-ball. The batters completed three runs on this ball which should've been a spectacular catch to dismiss the batter.
Daniel Sams couldn't believe his luck!
