Jos Buttler had a sensational start to the day after he pulled off an acrobatic catch to give England their first wicket of the 2nd Ashes test.

Buttler's catch was one of the most sensational catches where he had to move over 4 meters to the right after anticipating where the ball will go. His effort was no less than Superman stuff.

However, things have a way to balance when a person is on a high. While commentators were still talking about Buttler's catch, Marnus Labuschagne gave him another chance to grab a second stunner of the day.

Labuschagne tried to play the ball to the fine leg but got a top edge which went towards the left of Buttler, who jumped but couldn't hold on to the ball. It was a tough chance but one could expect Buttler to take that one.

In the final session of the day, Labuschagne, who was given a life on 21, was playing on 95. England had taken the new ball and were getting a bit of movement. James Anderson bowled a back of the length delivery that moved a little and got the edge off Labuschagne's bat.

Buttler didn't need to move and it was a catch that he could have taken with his eyes closed but he dropped it. Neither Buttler nor the viewers could understand how England's best wicketkeeper managed to pull off a stunner and drop a sitter on the same day.
