In the ongoing Super Smash T20 New Zealand, Northern Brave were able to defeat Canterbury Kings by 1 wicket in the 26th match. Brave required 6 runs off the last ball to win the match, and Trent Boult smashed the ball for a six to take his side home to victory. 

Northern Brave had to chase a target of 108 runs in 20 overs, and were struggling at one point. However, Trent Boult did the job for his team. Trent Boult had faced just one delivery before the last ball. On the 2nd delivery, he faced, the most crucial delivery of the match and Boult smacked it for a six. 

Northern Brave were emphatic with the win and the whole dressing room was seen charged up & hyped by the shot Trent Boult just pulled off.

Earlier, Canterbury Kings were bowled out for a total of 107 runs in 17.2 overs. Henry Nicholls scored 35 runs off 21 balls with 3 fours & 2 sixes, but none of the batters were able to cross 15 runs. For Northern Brave, Joe Walker picked up 3 wickets while Ish Sodhi, Anurag Amir & Trent Boult picked 2 wickets each.
