Robinson bowling off-spin clearly reflected England's defensive mindset as they are trying to save the test somehow. In the 35th over, Ollie Robinson was seen bowling off-spin which is now a trending top on the internet. He bowled 3 overs of spin.

Another reason behind this move could be Joe Root's motive to complete the overs as soon as possible since they have already been docked points & fees penalties due to slow over-rate in the first test. The English team is playing 4 fast bowlers in their playing XI, with captain Joe Root as the only option in the case of spin bowlers.

While talking about the match, Australia declared their first innings on 473/9. In reply, England were bundled out for 236. The hosts didn't enforce the follow on and declared their second innings at 230/9. England are at 82/4 on Stumps at Day 4, with Ben Stokes on strike; Joe Root was dismissed in the last over of the day.
