West Indies' explosive batter Andre Russell scored an unbeaten 18 runs off 7 balls with tow & a four in the ongoing ICC T20 World Cup match between Australia & West Indies at Abu Dhabi on Saturday (6th November).
Russell smacked a long & fine six in his short but stormy innings, playing at a strike rate of 257.14. Pollard hit a 111-metre six off the fifth ball of the 20th over bowled by fast bowler Mitchell Starc, which is the longest six of this T20 World Cup.
Andre Russell, who came to bat in the 18th over, was delivered a sharp short ball by Starc, on which he played a magnificent pull shot towards deep mid-wicket. Russell's shot was so brilliant that Australia's captain Aaron Finch was left stunned, watching the ball sail over the boundary rope. Russell also smacked a six on the last ball of the innings, which resulted in West Indies' score crossing a total of 150.
