In the 22nd match of IPL 2021, Delhi Capitals will meet Royal Challengers Bangalore in Ahmedabad. While DC won its last game, RCB lost its first match of the season. 

Delhi Capitals has a strong batting unit. They did well in the Chennai leg to reach the par score in every game. In Ahmedabad, the batting conditions will be better. Prithvi Shaw hit a fluent fifty and will be crucial at the top along with in-form Shikhar Dhawan. Rishabh Pant will be the key player for DC. 

Steve Smith has done well but he could be replaced by Ajinkya Rahane to make way for Chris Woakes who can be a good addition in both bat and bowling departments. 

The bowling has done well so far this season. Avesh Khan has been the biggest positive for Delhi. He has consistently taken wickets and at crucial times. In the absence of R Ashwin, Amit Mishra will be leading the spin department alongside Axar Patel. 

Royal Challengers Bangalore batting faltered for the first time this season in its last game. Devdutt Padikkal looked good as he once again gave a good start to the team. The trio - Virat Kohli, Glenn Maxwell, and AB De Villiers - will remain a threat to the bowlers. 

The bowlers have been outstanding for RCB this season. Mohammad Siraj is in top-form while Harshal Patel consistently picks wickets, especially in the death overs. There might be no changes in the RCB playing XI for this game. 

Royal Challengers Bangalore has dominated Delhi Capitals in the past. The two teams are in good form this season which makes it tough to choose a favorite. It could be anybody's game here at Ahmedabad.
