AUS vs ENG: Courtesy of Mitchell Starc's fiery bowling, Australia bowled out England within 39 overs to register a win by 72 runs in the 2nd ODI. With this win, Australia clinched the 3-match with a lead of 2-0. 

Chasing 281 to win, England batters were dealt two blows in the very first over of the innings as Mitchell Starc dismissed Jason Roy (0) and Dawid Malan (0). Philip Salt was dismissed in the 6th over by Aussie skipper Josh Hazlewood in the 5th over, as England were shimmied to 34/3.

From thereon, James Vince and Sam Billings held the crease and the innings as these two added 122 runs in136 deliveries for the 4th wicket. As long as these two were at the crease, the game hung in balance with both sides having an equal chance to win. 

However, once James Vince was dismissed in the 28th over after scoring 60 runs in 72 balls (4x3, 6x2), England lost regular wickets until they were bowled out for 208 in 38.5 overs. Sam Billings was the top scorer for the tourists with 71 runs in 80 deliveries including 3 fours & 2 sixes. 

For Australia, Mitchell Starc and Adam Zampa grabbed 4 wickets each while Josh Hazlewood managed 2 wickets. In the first innings, Australia continued their good run in the ODI series against England as they posted 280/8 against England in the 2nd ODI.

After openers David Warner (16) and Travis Head (19) were dismissed cheaply, Steven Smith got together with Marnus Labuschagne as these two added 101 runs for the 3rd wicket. Labuschagne was dismissed after scoring 58 runs in 55 balls with 4 fours & a six. 

Adil Rashid dismissed Alex Carey for a golden duck on the very next delivery as Australia lost their 4th wicket. Mitchell Marsh came out to the crease and held the innings with Smith, etching a partnership of 90 runs for the 5th wicket. 

Smith was dismissed in the 44th over by Adil Rashid, scoring 94 runs off 114 balls with 5 fours & a six. Marcus Stoinis completed his 50 off 58 balls and was dismissed on the very next delivery in the 49th over. 

For England, Adil Rashid grabbed three wickets and remained the top wicket-taker. Chris Woakes and David Willey picked up 2 wickets each while Moeen Ali managed 1 wicket.

Earlier, Australia captain Josh Hazlewood won the toss & opted to bat first against England in the 2nd ODI. This match was played at Sydney Cricket Ground, Sydney.
