South Africa will face off against the Netherlands in the 39th match of the T20 World Cup 2022 on Sunday, November 06 at Adelaide Stadium.

South Africa is in the second position in Group 2 with 5 points and will set its eyes to get a win and securing the knockout stage. The African team lost their last match against Pakistan by 33 runs. 

In the match against Pakistan, the Protea's batting lineup flopped badly, but captain Temba Bavuma, who was struggling with poor form, scored 36 runs in 19 balls, which is a positive sign. 

The batsmen have not done very well in the tournament so far. Riley Russo scored 109 runs against Bangladesh, but despite this, he has a total of 116 runs in 3 innings. Quinton de Kock has scored 111 runs in 4 innings and didn,t able to get runs in the last two matches.

While their bowling has been pretty impressive so far. Speedster Anrich Nortje has taken 10 wickets in 4 matches and in the last match he scalped  4 wickets.

Lungi Ngidi and Wayne Poornell have also taken wickets in every match. Ngidi has 7 wickets in three matches, while Poornell has taken 5 wickets in four matches. Star bowler Kagiso Rabada has not been doing very well and struggling to get wickets.

The Netherlands won their first match of the tournament by defeating Zimbabwe in the previous match. Max Odd anchored the Dutch side with his 52 runs in the match. 

ODowd has scored the most runs for the Netherlands in the tournament. ODowd has 213 runs in seven matches, but apart from him, no other batsman has been able to score more runs.

The team's most successful bowler is Paul van Bass de Leide as he has got 11 wickets in seven matches. In addition to Leide, Paul Van Meeckeren has also achieved 10 successes in the tournament. 

All the bowlers in the team have got success. In the previous match, Meekren took 3 wickets, while Brandon Glover, Logan Van Beck, and Bass de Leede took 2 wickets each.
