Shreyas Iyer's Knock Helps DC Score 228/4 Against KKR

Captain Shreyas Iyer's 88* off just 38 balls helps Delhi Capitals score 228/4 in the first innings against Kolkata Knight Riders. 

Earlier, KKR captain Dinesh Karthik won the toss and put Delhi into bat first. DC started got off to a great start as they scored 57 runs in the powerplay.

After Shikhar Dhawan got out, his opening partner Prithvi Shaw continued to score quickly along with Shreyas Iyer. Shaw and Iyer scored 73 runs for the second wicket. 

Rishab Pant played a classic T20 knock scoring 38 runs off 17 balls. Shreyas Iyer smashed 6 sixes and 7 fours in his knock of 88 runs. 

For Kolkata, Andre Russell was the pick of the bowlers. He took 2 wickets in his four overs giving away only 29 runs. He conceded only 7 runs in the last over of the innings and took the wicket of Marcus Stoinis.
