Pakistan Super League: In the 12th match of the PSL 2022 between Lahore Qalandars and Islamabad United, Islamabad captain Shadad Khan emerged as the hero of the match with his all-around performance, but couldn't lead his team to victory as Lahore defeated Islamabad by 8 runs. However, Shadab Khan displayed a fabulous shot which left everyone open-mouthed. 

This happened in the 11th over of Islamabad's batting, which was being bowled by Rauf. Rauf delivered the fifth delivery a low full toss just outside the off stump. Shadab moved across the line, getting down on one knee and scooped the ball for a six just behind the wicketkeeper. 

Prior to this, Shadab Khan picked up 4 Lahore Qalandars' wickets with his off-spin and remained as the highest wicket-taker for his team in the match. The Islamabad skipper gave away just 20 runs in his spell. Following this, Shadab smacked 52 runs off 32 balls with his bat, smashing two fours and four sixes.

While talking about the match, Lahore Qalandars after being put in to bat first posted 174/9 on the board in 20 overs. Opener Shafique was the top scorer for Lahore with his innings of 44 runs in 24 balls with 6 fours and 1 six, while captain Shadab Khan was the best bowler with his figure of 4/20. In reply, Colin Munro (60 off 45 balls) and Shadab (52 off 32 balls) put up a great fight but fell short by 8 runs courtesy of brilliant death bowling by Islamabad United.
