India vs Sri Lanka: Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja took on the Sri Lankan bowlers and registered his second international test century. Jadeja scored 175 runs off 228 balls during which he smacked three sixes and 17 fours. During this, Jadeja targetted the Lankan bowler Lasith Embuldeniya and via a flurry of shots in an over, smacked 14 runs off it.

After winning the toss and batting first, team India declared their first innings on 574/8. Ravindra Jadeja scored 175 runs and remained the top scorer for team India while keeper-batter Rishabh Pant also scored 96 runs. 33-year old Ravindra Jadeja took on Lankan spinner Embuldeniya after completing his century and thrashed 15 runs in a single over. 

This happened in the 121st over of the Indian innings. Embuldeniya was constantly bowling overs from one end and subsequently, Jadeja decided to target the bowler and take him for runs. On the 2nd delivery of the over, Jadeja reached the length of the ball and smacked a huge six. On the next two deliveries, Jadeja displayed his style and cheekiness as he played creative shots to score 2 more boundaries. A video of the same has surfaced on social media which is being liked and shared in numbers by the viewers on social media. 

In the ongoing test match, Lasith Embuldeniya bowled 46 overs in the first innings as Indian batters managed to score a total of 188 runs against him. Embuldeniya in return dismissed big names for team India batting line-up - Mayank Agarwal and former captain Virat Kohli. At the time of writing this piece, Sri Lanka are at 83/2, trailing by 492 runs. This match is being played at Punjab Cricket Association IS Bindra Stadium, Mohali.
