Pakistan’s Test opener Abid Ali has undergone angioplasty, who was admitted to the hospital after complaining of chest pain during the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy match.
Cardiologists found out through several tests that Abid was suffering from ‘Acute Coronary Syndrome’ in which there is a sudden decrease in blood flow to the heart.
Sources in the Pakistan Cricket Board said, “He has undergone angioplasty and a stent has been inserted in a vein. He will have to undergo another minor procedure before being discharged from the hospital.
