With England already having won the first two Tests, Pakistan will take the field in the 3rd Test to avoid a clean sweep at home. 

PAK vs ENG 3rd Test: Match Preview:

In a match mostly dominated by bowlers, Pakistan batters displayed decent performance. Saud Shakeel was the top batter for Pakistan with his knocks of 63 and 94 runs. Captain Babar Azam scored 75 runs in the 1st innings while Imam-ul-Haq scored 60 runs in the 2nd innings. Opener Abdullah Shafique and all-rounder Mohammad Nawaz also scored 45 runs each in the 2nd innings. However, the Pak batters need to step up with bigger scores in order to counter England's on-fire Bazball. 

Abrar Ahmed was the bowling sensation as he grabbed 7 wickets in the first innings on his debut. Abrar went on to pick up 7 wickets in the 1st innings and dismissed the entire English top 7 batters on his own. Zahid Mahmood also picked up 3 wickets. Abrar and Zahid wreaked havoc in the 2nd innings as well where Abrar picked up 4 wickets while Zahid yet again grabbed 3 wickets. However, the pacers didn't manage a single wicket in the match which would be a cause of concern for the home team. 

English batters Ben Duckett (63) and Ollie Pope (60) scored quickly in the first innings where Pakistan looked on top and took the team total to 281. While Duckett scored 79 runs in the second innings, Harry Brook was the star as he smashed 108 runs and managed to set a winning total for the England team in the 2nd test. Ben Stokes also scored 41 runs in the 2nd innings. 

While Jack Leach starred with 4 wickets in the first innings, Mark Wood and Joe Root also chipped in with two wickets each. James Anderson also managed a wicket. In the second innings, pacer Mark Wood wreaked havoc with 4 wickets while James Anderson and Ollie Robinson picked up 2 wickets each while Jack Leach and Joe Root managed 1 wicket each.
