With this win against Sydney Sixers, Brisbane Heat have set up the BBL 12 final clash against Perth Scorchers.

SIX vs HEA: On a bowling-friendly pitch, Michael Neser played a gritty knock as Brisbane Heat defeated Sydney Sixers by _ wickets in the Challenger match. With this win, the Heat have set up the BBL 12 final clash against Perth Scorchers. 

Chasing 117 runs to win, Brisbane Heat looked in a spot of bother at 56/5 in 10 overs. Michael Neser got together with Max Bryant to add 30 runs for the 6th wicket. When Bryant was dismissed, the Heat were at 86/6, requiring another 31 runs to win. 

However, Neser kept his cool as he scored an unbeaten 48 runs off 32 balls (4x7) to guide Heat to the finals. For Sydney Sixers, Izharulhaq Naveed grabbed 2 wickets while Steve O'Keefe, Sean Abbott and Ben Dwarshuis managed 1 wicket each.

In the first innings, Brisbane Heat bowlers shined as they restricted Sydney Sixers to 116/9 in 20 overs. Matthew Kuhnemann and Spencer Johnson were the best bowlers with figures of 3/17 and 3/28 in 4 overs each respectively, while Michael Neser picked up 2 scalps. Ben Dwarshuis also picked up a wicket. 

Earlier, Sydney Sixers captain Moises Henriques won the toss & opted to bat first against Brisbane Heat in BBL 12 Challenger match. This match was played at Sydney Cricket Ground, Sydney.
