LSG vs DC: Match Preview:

Lucknow Super Giants had a decent debut season last year as they finished 3rd on the points table with 9 wins and 5 losses in 14 matches. KL Rahul and Quinton de Kock will be leading the batting unit, along with big-hitting overseas players Nicholas Pooran and Marcus Stoinis. Deepak Hooda, Krunal Pandya and Ayush Badoni will further strengthen the LSG batting unit.

English pacer Mark Wood, along with Indian pacers Avesh Khan and Jaydev Unadkat will be heading the bowling department, while Ravi Bishnoi and Krunal Pandya will comprise the spin department. Marcus Stoinis and Deepak Hooda can also bowl the middle overs as part-timers. 

Delhi Capitals on the other hand failed to make it to the playoffs in IPL 2022, finishing 5th with 7 wins in 14 games. Capitals will be missing their captain Rishabh Pant in this season, and David Warner will be leading the side in his stead. Warner, along with Prithvi Shaw, would be expected to provide an explosive opening at the top of the order. Mitchell Marsh, Sarfaraz Khan and Rilee Rossouw will handle the middle and lower-order batting, while Axar Patel has also proved his worthiness with the bat. 

Anrich Nortje will be leading the DC pace department, while Khaleel Ahmed and Chetan Sakariya will be the Indian pacers in the team. Aman Khan can also bowl medium pace and according to Ricky Ponting, is sure to start for DC in the first game. Kuldeep Yadav will be heading the spin bowling with Axar Patel chipping in.
