The results of the double-header Saturday have once again turned the IPL 2022 points table. There were two matches played - Gujarat Titans vs Kolkata Knight Riders and Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Royal Challengers Bangalore. 

In the first game, the Titans managed to win the game by eight runs in a low-scoring affair as the Knight Riders failed to 157-run target despite Andre Russell's four-wicket haul and 48-run knock. Hardik Pandya was the highest scorer for Gujarat - 67 runs.

In the second game, Bangalore had a night to forget as they got bowled out for mere 68 runs and Hyderabad sealed the game in just eight overs with nine wickets in hand. Marco Jansen and T Natarajan shared three wickets each to set up the game for SRH. 

Latest IPL 2022 Points Table

After the second of the day, SRH's win over RCB saw them climb to the second spot in the points table with 10 points while Gujarat retained the top position with six wins in seven games. 

Rajasthan Royals and Royal Challengers Bangalore are at 3rd and 4th spot respectively with 10 points each. Lucknow Super Giants are stuck in the middle of the table with eight points in seven matches. 

Delhi Capitals, Kolkata Knight Riders, and Punjab Kings fill the 6th, 7th, and 8th spot with six points each while Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians are at the bottom of the table. 

Latest Orange Cap Holder

Jos Buttler is way ahead of the others in the race of orange cap with 491 runs in seven games. Hardik Pandya is the second in the list with 295 runs followed by KL Rahul at third with 265 runs. 

Latest Purple Cap Holder

Yuzvendra Chahal leads the purple cap race with 18 wickets and T Natarajan has now moved to the second spot with 15 wickets to his name. Kuldeep Yadav is in the third spot with 13 wickets.
