The 'El-Classico' of Indian Premier League (IPL) lived up to its hype with a vintage MS Dhoni show that powered Chennai Super Kings to a three-wicket win over Mumbai Indians in match 33 of the season. 

After MI set a below-par total of 155/7, CSK managed to pull off the run chase on the last ball of - courtesy of MS Dhoni's 28 off 13 including 16 runs in the last four balls.

CSK registered their second win of the IPL 2022 in seven games while MI became the first-ever IPL team to lose the first seven games of the season. 

Latest IPL 2022 Points Table 

Despite the win last night, CSK continue to remain at the ninth spot with four points while MI are at the bottom with seven out of seven losses. 

Gujarat Titans continue to lead the points table with 10 points followed by Royal Challengers Bangalore, who also have 10 points. Rajasthan Royals, Lucknow Super Giants, and SunRisers Hyderabad fill the 3rd, 4th, and 5th spot in the table with eight points. 

Delhi Capitals, Kolkata Knight Riders, and Punjab Kings occupy 6th, 7th, and 8th place in the table with six points. 

Latest Orange Cap Holder 

Jos Buttler continues to wear the orange cap this season with 375 runs in six innings. KL Rahul is at the second spot with 265 runs followed by Faf du Plessis, who has 250 runs in seven games. 

Latest Purple Cap Holder

Yuzvendra Chahal continues to wear the purple cap with 17 wickets in six matches so far followed by Kuldeep Yadav with 13 scalps. Dwayne Bravo and T Natarajan are third and fourth in the list with 12 wickets each.
