After plenty of rains, the sun finally shined at Brisbane ahead of the first Ashes test which is to be played at from 8th December at the Gabba. 

Australian team, on Friday, hit the nets on a bright sunny day at Redlands Cricket Ground. While the whole Australian players were busy in their respective training, be it Alex Carey - Australia's confirmed test debutant for the 1st test, keeping at the open wicket, slip catches, or at the net session.

In between Australia's first outdoor training session, head coach Justin Langer wandered off to the side and began to watch the nets of a local club where a kid was practicing. After watching for a while, Langer got inside his nets and started giving him batting tips.

Meanwhile, England played an intra-squad match after four straight days of washed-out practice. There is a danger of rain interfering throughout the first test in Brisbane.
