Christchurch, June 14 (CRICKETNMORE): Indian origin leg-spinner Ish Sodhi and batsman Colin Munro on Tuesday returned to New Zealand Cricket's (NZC) central contract list which for the first time did not have former skipper Brendon McCullum who has retired.
Apart from Brendon, the notable omissions include his brother Nathan, who also retired from all formats last season while Grant Elliott lost out after having retired from One-Day Internationals (ODIs) in April. He now plays only Twenty20 internationals.
Sodhi and Munro were joined by southpaw Henry Nicholls and all-rounder George Worker, as first-timers in a list that has been expanded from 20 to 21 this year. Having made their international debuts over the past 12 months, Nicholls and Worker are now formally part of the international squad.
