Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 - A Look At The Chennai Super Kings (CSK) Squad, Complete Schedule Match Details, Venue And Timings

The 15th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) will begin from 26th March. The BCCI announced that all the league matches will be held in Maharashtra where the 10 teams will battle it out for the IPL title. A total of 70 league matches will be played in two months. 

The four time IPL winners and current defending champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will play the season opener against the 2021 finalists Kolkata Knight Riders(KKR) on 26th March.  

In the new IPL format, the MS Dhoni-led CSK is placed in the 'Group B' along with Sunrisers Hyderbad (SRH), Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), Punjab Kings (PBKS), Gujarat Titans (GT). 

CSK will play three matches in Pune while the rest 11 games will be played in Mumbai's two venues - Brabourne Stadium & Wankhede Stadium.
