Amit Mishra took four wickets in the first innings to set up Delhi Capitals' win against Mumbai Indians in the 13th match of IPL 2021 on Tuesday.

IPL 2021, Delhi Capitals vs Mumbai Indians, 13th Match 

Chasing a target of 138, DC started the innings decently as they scored 39 and lost the wicket of Prithvi Shaw. Shikhar Dhawan started slowly along with Steve Smith to set up a strong platform with their 53 run stand in 48 balls for the second wicket. 

Smith got out after scoring 33 from 29 balls with the help of four fours. Dhawan continued to rotate strike along with five fours and a six during his 45 run knock from 42 balls. 

Delhi sent Lalit Yadav at number 4, who played a crucial inning and most importantly didn't lose his wicket in the middle overs. His unbeaten 22 from 25 balls helped Delhi come close to the target. Shimron Hetmyer made 14 not out from nine balls to finish the game with five balls to spare. 

Earlier, Mumbai captain Rohit Sharma opted to bat first on a pitch best-suited score in the first half only. They started well despite losing Quinton de Kock early. Rohit Sharma and Suryakumar Yadav added 58 runs in just 29 balls for the second wicket. 

However, Amith Mishra got DC back in the game with the wicket of Rohit after he had scored 44 from 30 balls with the help of three fours and as many sixes. 

Mishra continued to run through the Mumbai middle order and finished with the figures of 4/24. Mumbai went down from 67/2 to 84/6 within six overs. Jayant Yadav's 23 helped Mumbai reach a competitive total of 137/9 in the end.   

Delhi Capitals after this win is in 2nd spot in the IPL points table while Mumbai Indians is in 4th position.
