Amidst rising Covid cases, India's tour of South Africa was postponed by a week and is scheduled to start from December 26. The tour will kick off with test series, with the first test to be played at Centurion.
Cricket South Africa announced a list of 21 players who comprise the test squad against the #1 Test side in the world - Virat Kohli's India. BCCI hasn't yet announced the touring squad, but it is probable that Team India will land in South Africa with a full-strength squad.
In the South African squad, 2 players have received their maiden call up to the national side - Sisanda Magala and Ryan Rickelton. Magala has already debuted for South Africa in T20Is, where he has 84 runs and 3 wickets to his name in 4 matches. Rickelton hasn't yet made his debut in any format yet.
