Quinton de Kock-led Durban Super Giants are set to host Faf du Plessis' Joburg Super Kings in the 2nd match of the inaugural SA20 league.

DSG vs JSK: Match Preview:

Durban Super Giants will open their batting with two left-handers – Quinton de Kock and West Indies' Kyle Mayers. Both have proved their ability in the T20 circuit and can give explosive starts to the Super Giants. The middle order is the majority of rookies – Matthew Breetzke and Wiaan Mulder, while Heinrich Klaasen has been in impressive form and will strengthen the Durban Super Giants' batting. All-rounders Dwaine Pretorius and Jason Holder can also provide some useful cameos down the order. 

In the bowling department, Junior Dala is the only proper pacer option in the team. However, his inclusion will be interesting in terms of who makes way for the 33-year-old. Reece Topley has been in good form and his recent rise in stature while Holder and Pretorius can provide contributions with the bat. Keemo Paul is also present in the squad, while DSG have the league's best off-spinners in the form of Prenalen Subrayen and Keshav Maharaj. 

Joburg Super Kings batting on the other hand will be opened by South African batters Janneman Malan and Reeza Hendricks. Faf du Plessis will provide stability at no. 3 while Kyle Verreyne can bat at #4 along with keeping the wickets. All-rounder Leus du Plooy will be expected to contribute with the bat as well alongwith Donovan Ferreira. Romario Shepherd will also strengthen the batting lineup. 

Alzarri Joseph will lead the JSK fast bowling department while Maheesh Theekshana will be unavailable for the first three matches due to Sri Lanka's ongoing series in India. It will be interesting to see who JSK chose between all-round and bowling options Lewis Gregory, George Garton, Nandre Burger and Geral Coetzee.
