IPL 2020, Delhi Capitals VS Sunrisers Hyderabad: Match Details

  • Date – 29 September 2020
  • Time – 7:30 PM IST
  • Venue – Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi

DC VS SRH Match Preview:

Both the teams have had a contrasting start to the tournament. On one side, Delhi Capitals have been in excellent touch and have won both the games till now. Sunrisers Hyderabad, on the other hand, has struggled in both the games and lost.
One of the reasons Delhi Capitals has been doing good in this tournament till now is the balance they have in the squad. They have plenty of options in all the departments. Prithvi Shaw, in the last match against CSK, gave a good start to the team and was well complemented by a solid middle-order finish.
Sunrisers have been struggling with their batting. They haven't got the starts they wanted from captain David Warner. A weak and inexperienced middle order is a concern. SRH needs someone to play through the innings and Kane Williamson could be that someone.
Delhi's bowling line up has a great mix of everything. The management didn't panic after injury of Ashwin and they could afford to give him the ample amount of rest he requires. His replacement Amit Mishra is among the leading wicket-takers in IPL.
Hyderabad also has some exciting bowlers in their squad but since their batsmen are not scoring enough runs, it is harsh for the bowlers to save them every time.
Delhi with the balance and variety is looking like the stronger side between the two teams. Sunrisers Hyderabad should look to make some changes in the combination to challenge a confident team led by Shreyas Iyer.

Team News:

Delhi Capitals - There is no news of Ishant Sharma's fitness and will be unavailable for this match as well. Ravichandran Ashwin is fit but has been given a precautionary rest for 2-3 matches.

Sunrisers Hyderabad - Manish Pandey looked uncomfortable during the last game. David Warner said that it was probably a cramp. The availability of Kane Williamson is still not clear. There are no major injury concerns as of now.

Weather Report: The conditions have been tough for the players. The temperature will hover around 33 degrees Celsius on tuesday.

Pitch Report: In the last match played here between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Kolkata Knight Riders, the pitch didn't change much during the 40 overs of play and it was good to bat on. In this match as well, teams will be looking at a score of over 170 runs.
