IND v WI 2nd ODI: A lot of discussions and speculations took place when Deepak Hooda was handed his debut cap in the first ODI between India and West Indies but was not given the chance to bowl in the match. However, this weapon was unsheathed in the 2nd ODI and struck in his very first over.
West Indies batting attack has been struggling for quite some time now and the story was no different in the 2nd ODI, as half of West Indies' batting was dismissed at a score of 76. However, Shamarh Brooks showed some grit with 64 ball-44, but captain Rohit Sharma finally utilised his 6th bowling option, which paid off exceptionally well.
Deepak Hooda made his debut in the 1st ODI of the series. However, he got to bowl his first over in the 2nd ODI. Brooks and Hosein etched a partnership of 41 runs for the 5th wicket and were starting to look dangerous. However, Hooda struck in his very first over and once again West Indies team was floored.
