Royal Challengers Bangalore will be taking on Delhi Capitals in the 27th match of the IPL 2022 at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai. Both RCB and DC have been hot and cold so far. Bangalore has lost two and won three while Delhi has two wins and as many losses.

Let's take a look at the best impact players to watch out for in the RCB vs DC IPL match today:

Trending

1) Glenn Maxwell - This game will be the test of Maxwell the spin hitter. DC has three spinners - Kuldeep Yadav, Axar Patel, and Lalit Yadav. There will be at least eight overs of spin and RCB's two key batters - Faf du Plessis and Virat Kohli haven't been the best hitters against it.

It'll all come down to Maxwell and how he approaches spin, especially during the middle overs. Maxwell has a brilliant record playing wrist spin (28, 143) and SLA (42, 119).

2) Shahbaz Ahmed - The DC batting lineup doesn't have a great record facing SLA and RCB could deploy Shahbaz against them. His battle vs Rishabh Pant will be interesting. The DC captain smacks SLA at 143 but the average is only 19.

Apart from bowling, Shahbaz has been in fantastic form for RCB with the bat. He is a floater batter and gets to bat according to the situation. He can take on favorable matchups. Has played some good knocks so far - 27(20), 45(26), and 41(27).

3) Prithvi Shaw - It is now common knowledge that Shaw is the powerplay specialist. Shaw can take on both pacers and spinners. Shaw has the ability to score a fifty inside the powerplay and the fact that RCB's powerplay bowling hasn't been that strong this season, the star opener could prove to be hard to stop.
