PAK vs ENG 2nd Test: While Pakistan are in pursuit of a huge target to win the 2nd Test and level the series, England's 'Bazball' has registered another record. England captain Ben Stokes scored 41 runs with a four and a six in the 2nd innings and equalled Brendon McCullum''s famed record in Test Cricket.
The record being discussed here is the record for most sixes in a Test career. Ben Stokes' six against Pakistan in the 2nd innings in his career's 107th six in his 160 innings and has equalled Brendon McCullum's record of 107 sixes. McCullum played 176 innings in his Test career to smack these many sixes, and Ben Stokes levelled in 16 fewer innings.
England has adopted an aggressive approach after Brendon McCullum was appointed as coach for the Test team which followed the Ashes debacle. England's team now looks to score run-a-ball in Tests as well, and this was put on display in the 1st Test against Pakistan where England scored 575 runs in a single day, which ended early due to bad light.
