All You Need To Know About CPL 2021 - Schedule & Squads

The 9th season of the Caribbean Premier League(CPL) is scheduled to begin on 26th August and will go on till 15th September 2021. All the matches will take place at only one venue - Warner Park, Saint Kitts & Nevis. 

The season-opener will be played between defending champions Trinbago Knight Riders and Guyana Amazon Warriors at 7:30 PM IST followed by Barbados Royals clashing with St Kitts & Nevis Patriots at 4:30 AM IST. 

A total of 33 matches will be played within 20 days, including semi-finals & finals. There will be only two semi-finals - the first will be played between the table topper and the 4th place team, while the second will be played between 2nd and 3rd teams in the CPL Points Table. Both Semi-Finals will take place on 14th September, and the Final will be played the next day - 15th September. 

A total of six teams are participating in the tournament - Barbados Royals, Guyana Amazon Warriors, Jamaica Tallawahs, St Kitts & Nevis Patriots, Saint Lucia Kings, and Trinbago Knight Riders.
